Michaela Quast-Neulinger studied Catholic Theology and Islamic Studies in Vienna, Salzburg, Jerusalem and Birmingham. She received her PhD from the University of Innsbruck with a thesis on Talal Asad and the possibility of a “Political Theology of Vulnerability”. Since 2022 she is Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) for Fundamental Theology and the Study of Religions at the University of Innsbruck. Her research focuses on political theology, interreligious dialogue and the future of faith in a fragmented world.
